Myscreen is 16:9, So if i tab into a game running at 16:10 aspect ratio i want it to be stretched vertically so remove the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, and if i open an app running at 4:3 i want it to stretch horisontally. I just want to find the setting that scales the resolution to the monitor aspect ratio
Havingspoken to one other 16:10 monitor player, I realised I am not alone in my finding that 16:9 fullscreen resolution/ratios are completely unavailable to some of us. Despite my monitor supporting 16:9, Fortntie will only offer me the use of 16:10 options in fullscreen (losing horizontal fov). Ofcourse I can use windowed mode to use a 16:9
Enable5:4 aspect ratio (Yes/No) vid_tft Enables the use of 5:4 aspect ratio. Note that some aspect ratios are not what they mathematically should be. 320x200 are logically 16:10 ratios, not 4:3, but they are displayed as 4:3 ratios nonetheless. If 5:4 ratios are not enabled, resolutions such as 1280x1024 will be treated as 4:3 ratios as well

Howevera 16:10 aspect ratio should allow them to include multiple resolutions. 1200x1920 is quite common. And I know many laptops have 2400x3840. 1600x2560 can be had on desktop monitors, but I have no idea if there any common laptop screens that use that resolution. Anyways, lots of commonly used options for 16:10.
